Dill :: Halo 3 Montage 2

Here it is. After about of year of getting clips, I'm happy to get this out. I tried to push my creativity outside of standard stuff I was doing before, and I think it paid off. There's a variety of object splatters and unique multis and other stuff in this. I didn't get all of the stuff I wanted, but all I'm happy nonetheless with what's in here; and I already have some more ideas to go for down the road. In terms of editing, I tried to create a steady and smooth flow, as that's something I struggled with. I'm nowhere near good at editing, but I definitely want to practice and get better; audio is definitely a struggle for me - don't be surprised if there's a few problems with audio in here that I didn't catch, I just hope that it doesn't take away from the video. There aren't really any effects other than standard screen bumps and a flash/glow, but I think my angle work was good for transitions. I had a couple good transitions that I feel are worth noting like the smashed to pit splatter, and my first attempt at masking on the valhalla transition. Regardless, I tried to make this look good and hope to do more. I hope you enjoy the video. I'd like to thank Trev and Behr first and foremost for introducing me to a different way of playing this game. I've had a lot more enjoyment messing around, and it's much more relieving in my opinion to get a clip that you've been going for than sweating for a multi in my opinion. They've showed me tactics and things that I've been able to incorporate in different ways, and I appreciate their help in spending hours in forge coming up with ideas, testing them, then trying to get them in matchmaking.
