LocaL - "The Wake Up" :: Dutchy, Stobs, Piano Frenzy, Nabes

This is a Halo 3 Quad-tage with gameplay by Dutchy, Nabes, Piano Frenzy & Stobs – edited by myself, Local. Read below for the great big story behind it all. Alright where to start? This originally began as a few short-length videos intended for individual release; Dutchy’s part was leftovers from his M4 (started that in March), Nabes’ part was an MLG video I started in October of 2013). Piano and Stobs were added once I decided to expand the project. I thank MIke (Nabes) for being so patient; he's been waiting over a year for this now. He is one of the coolest guys I've met, and was on board when I laid out my plan to include his clips with Dutchy, Thomas, and Stobs. I love the MLG clips he offered, I had a lot of fun editing them, and he has some nasty leftovers too. I have to thank Dutchy for reaching out to the community asking for people to get involved; this led to Thomas (Piano Frenzy) & Stobs both joining. They actually dropped projects they were working on to offer me their clips (the clips you see in Part 4 were originally going to be in Stobs' final, and Thomas had an M2 in the works which included the clips that are now in Part 2). I can't thank them enough for trusting me with the caliber of their footage -- and, of course, editing for the Dutchman himself is now off the bucket list. Thomas gave me the chance to use a type of footage I've never worked with before, which fit into this tage perfectly. I know everyone gets bored after 10 minutes of kill-angle-kill, high multikills with snipe. That's why his clips are important, they break the mold. Thomas worked really hard to pull off some of these clips (look for the barrel launch assassination on the Pit, and the ghost/brute shot launch assassination on Zanzibar - with help from Salaya). Not to mention one of the sickest MLG overkills I've ever seen, on narrows. So shout-out to Piano for both dropping his M2 and turning down 5DV to be a part of this. He's the man. And of course thanks Stobs for giving up his H3 Final in place of this. His gameplay is one of the most creative mixes of MLG and social, offering unique clips form each. I think the Pit killtrocity on the lifter and the Narrows killtrocity from mancannon to top mid are some of the flashiest plays I've come across. I wish I didn't have to leave so many leftovers, but I'm sure he'll be releasing something with the clips I didn't use. Check out these guys' channels below.
