Rhis :: Bliss 2 - A Halo 2 1v1 Montage

I usually don't like or post 1v1 montage, but with around 75% of what's been coming out lately being social Halo 3 montages, this video was a great change of pace for me. The gameplay is great, containing a great mix of ridiculous sticks and snipes which consists of pretty much everything: grenade launches, straight ups, no scopes, quick scopes, you name it. I also absolutely loved the soundtrack and editing. I've been a huge fan of Marruk's editing ever since I saw his work with TheFuntageCrew's funtages, and his work in this work certainly didn't disappoint. The syncing is just phenomenal, and even though the editing is very simple, the flow of this video is simply incredible. All of the effects are perfectly placed, and even though the soundtrack is quite fast paced, I didn't feel as if the editing sloppily sped through or took away from the gameplay in any way, a problem I find very often with fast paced montages. The intro for this montage is also great; it's simple yet elegant like all of the editing for this montage. Moving on to the soundtrack, it's awesome, plain and simple. It's unique, and despite its fast paced nature, it's very relaxing. To sum up this video, it has it all (great gameplay, stellar editing, and a beautiful soundtrack), and I haven't enjoyed a video as I much as I did this one for quite a while. Enjoy!
