This is definitely one of those instances of pure nostalgia bait by FaZe Clan. It was nice that they did release a montage but from the edit and the clips it's just kind of disappointing. At least there's no shake package or TDM to SND or anything with EB but this is still a very big letdown of a montage

Everyone who was around at the time remembers how they felt when this video dropped. I remember being both overcome by hype and simultaneously disappointed by some of the lackluster combos, set up trickshots (god we didn’t know how good we had it now that every shot is EB scripted mod menu auto ele slop) and I even didn’t like the inclusion of sniping clips. Yes you did actually read that right, I didn’t like the sniping clips at first. I used to be a trickshotter. This video ultimately aged horribly but is also the perfect artifact of the times. It represents the golden age of trickshotting and the dawn of the golden age of sniping. This video reestablished the standards for trickshotters and SET the standards for sniping, yet neither category of clips hold up that well today with some obvious exceptions. The edit really just doesn’t hold up. It’s tropey, synced inconsistently, drags, has useless black space, and I think has objectively quite poor clip placement. But it really was everything at the time. It does in fact deserve the numbers it has. It was a testament to the times then and is a time capsule now. Can you believe there was a roughly month long period where trickshotters would anti by shooting the highrise helipad barrels so you couldn’t get on the heli and go for the Objay spot? It really had cultural impact like that. I think this review, fittingly enough, is as nonsensical and grandiose as the video I’m reviewing so I’ll cut it here. Easy 4 stars on the back of the incredible peaks of the clips and the cultural significance of the video. There are still a couple moments in here that trigger the asmr shiver down my spine the same way it did when I first saw it. Ggs

I remember watching this the minute it came out. The hype was absolutely crazy and I was 13 years old, which I guess must be the ideal age to be huge fan of FaZeClan. It's very weird to even think about FaZe now, after they quit CoD for Fortnite and Counter-Strike and content houses and getting listed on NASDAQ. Nowadays they make videos with titles like "GUESS THE WHITE PERSON" and "CHEAP FOOD VS EXPENSIVE FOOD" and nobody cares that they got famous for spinning around in Modern Warfare 2. The editing and music in this is very 2012, in a bad way, but the clips have aged fine. FaZe during this point in time was basically too big to fail. They were like the New York Yankees the way they could just get whatever players they wanted on the roster. The team was mainly trickshotters but they threw their weight around to get some of the better snipers of the era too like AJAIIX, Dnag, Crafted, Spratt, etc. I don't care about trickshots at all anymore but you can probably assume most of the shots in this video are legit, for what it's worth. Some of them might be set up or whatever but 2012 is before clip faking and modded lobbies really got out of control. Some clips that stood out to me this watch: Force's nosc ending QF on Terminal. Kraazy's nosc triple on Skidrow. Super underrated player. Both of Pamaj's Inter 6ons. Really insane for the time period. Crafted's closer. Still one of the better MW3 clip ever hit It's so laughably insane to imagine a Call of Duty montage getting 12 million views now but that's what this video did. For better or worse, this is likely the peak of the entire hobby in terms of popularity. A lot of people probably watched this and never saw another montage again. Good for them.

I don’t care what nobody says, this shit was ICONIC. The music is some of the worst shit you’ll ever hear but somehow IT WORKS! It’s catchy, this thing has some of the most classic clips ever. FaZe Rain Triple Headshot feed trickshot, FaZe Fakie MW3 DLC QUAD, the closer, and I don’t even fuck with trickshotting like that at all but this thing SLAPS!
